Live — free, no signupNew — tell your PDF what to do

Sign, fill & redact PDFs without uploading them.

Free, no sign-up — and you can prove it: open DevTools and watch nothing upload. Most browser PDF tools send your whole file to a server (some even charge to download it back). AttachKit runs entirely on your device, and its AI features send only the text they need — never the file.

  • Editing runs in your browser — no upload
  • No account to start
  • Standalone verifier — checkable offline
  • Unlimited fill, redact & convert — free

The PDF jobs people do most — done right.

Auto-fill, signing, and redaction lead the way — plus a private AI agent that does it all from a plain-English request — backed by a full browser-side toolkit: convert, compress, merge, OCR, and more. The work runs on your device, not our servers; the only upload is when you ask us to send a document to someone else to sign.

AI Auto-Fill

Drop a fillable PDF form. AttachKit maps your saved profile to its fields and fills what it can — a W-9 in seconds, every value yours to review.

One-Click Sign

Sign yourself or send to others. Recipients sign without an account. Optionally append an audit trail: timestamp, time zone, and device details.

On-Device Redact

Find and black out SSNs, addresses and account numbers with a model that runs in your browser — nothing uploaded, not even the text. Strips hidden metadata too, and a cloud scan is there if you want it.

New · Private PDF Agent

Tell your PDF what to do.

The only AI PDF agent that shows you a plan to approve before anything changes — and where the file never leaves your browser. Only the extracted text is sent to AI, never the document.

  1. Step 1

    Tell it

Describe the change in plain English — “redact every SSN”, “delete the blank pages”, “fill this from my profile”.

  2. Step 2

    Review the plan

The agent proposes an ordered, labeled list of every change. Nothing happens to your PDF until you approve it.

  3. Step 3

    Apply & export

Approve and it runs — locally, on your device. Your original is never modified until you export the result.

Don't take our word for it: open your browser's DevTools → Network while you work. You'll see the extracted text go to AI — and the PDF itself never upload.

Your documents stay on your device.

Every PDF you open is filled, signed, and redacted inside your browser — we don't store, transmit, or even see your files. The exceptions are Sign's two handoffs — sending a document out for signature, and the QR code to your phone: each uploads a copy, encrypted in your browser, and we hold the ciphertext for 7 days. Turn on the audit trail when you sign and your signature becomes provable by anyone, offline — checkable on any device, free, with no account and no call home (most e-sign tools lock verification inside their own platform).

The server never sees it

Filling, signing, and redaction run entirely in your browser. Open the DevTools Network tab and watch — no upload. The exceptions are Sign's two handoffs — sending for signature, and the QR code to your phone — which upload an encrypted copy so the other device can open it.

Verifiable by anyone, offline

Turn on the audit trail and your signature is timestamped and tamper-evident; on Max it's also passkey-backed. Then anyone can verify the signed PDF with no account and no call home.

Built to stay verifiable

Max adds post-quantum signatures, a self-declared notary attestation, and PAdES-aligned archives (strict PAdES-B-LTA on the roadmap) — built to stay verifiable even if AttachKit is gone.

Questions, answered.

The difference is where your file goes.

Most PDF tools have to move your document to do their job — AttachKit doesn’t move it at all.

Smallpdf · iLovePDF · Adobe online
Your file uploads to their servers to be processed.
DocuSign · Dropbox Sign
Your signed document is stored in their cloud.
AttachKit
Nothing uploads — processing runs in your browser. Open your network tab and watch: not a single byte of your PDF leaves the page.
