About AttachKit

Every other PDF tool asks you to upload your forms, contracts, and IDs to their server before you can do anything with them. AttachKit runs in your browser instead. Your files stay where you put them.

Who's behind it

AttachKit is built by an indie developer who got tired of trusting random SaaS with my W-9s, lease agreements, and immigration paperwork. Solo and independent — no VC, no acquisition exit, no plans to get either. The plan is to build a sustainable independent product that respects your privacy by default.

What we believe

• Local-first. If a feature can work in the browser without sending your bytes to a server, that's how we build it. The visible “Local only” badge in every tool tells you exactly when something has left your machine and what we sent.
• Honest pricing. Free tier for casual use, $12/month (or $120/year — $10/mo, 2 months free) for unlimited. No per-recipient fees, no “contact us” pricing.
• Boring tech. Standard Web Crypto, standard PDF.js, standard Tesseract — no self-rolled cryptography, no proprietary formats. Audit the wire yourself.
