Is my PDF uploaded to edit it?

No. Every edit is drawn onto the PDF in your browser and the file is never uploaded. PDF24, Smallpdf and iLovePDF upload your document to their servers to edit it; AttachKit doesn't. You can confirm it in your browser's network tab.

Can I edit the existing text in the PDF?

Not the original text itself — true 'reflow' text editing isn't possible reliably in the browser. AttachKit does overlay editing: you add new text, shapes, highlights, drawings and images on top of the page. To change existing words, cover them with a white box or a highlight and type over them, or redact them first.

Does it work on rotated or scanned PDFs?
